Midland’s municipal line is marketed under the MIDCO name and consists of a unique restraining system, bronze water meter flanges, companion flanges, and meter box keys.

MIDCO RESTRAINT JOINTS provide the ultimate in joint restraint. This unique system supports the pipe, and encircles it with a full 360 degree grip. It is simple to install and provides a trouble-free installation. Pressure may be applied immediately with no blocking required. The "grip rings" are interchangeable so that the MIDCO glands may be used for both styles of PVC restraint as well as the STYLE 40 Iron Restraint. The C900 grip rings are recognized by a stripe of blue paint on the O.D. The MIDCO restraint is not recommended for polyethylene pipe without an approved internal stiffener. We have been marketing the Midco Restraint System since 1986 and have found it well received among contractors.

Our meter box keys, water meter and companion flanges are produced in CA 923 low lead bronze. This bronze contains less than 1/2 of 1% lead.
